This policy explains how Ersel Aydin, trading as an individual/sole trader, handles personal information connected with ersel.com.au and consulting enquiries.

Information collected

This website does not currently operate user accounts, analytics, tracking pixels, or an on-site contact form. Information may be collected when you email, contact me through LinkedIn, book or pay through Stripe, or work with me as a client. This can include your name, contact details, employer, billing details, booking information, correspondence, and technical or business information you choose to provide.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to enquiries, schedule and deliver services, process and reconcile payments, maintain business and tax records, manage disputes, secure the service, and comply with legal obligations. It is not sold.

Service providers and overseas processing

The website is hosted by Netlify. Bookings and payments are handled by Stripe. Email, LinkedIn, and other tools you choose to use may also process information. These providers may process data outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Their own privacy policies also apply.

Security and retention

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online transmission or storage system is completely secure. Information is retained only as long as reasonably required for service delivery, business records, tax, legal, security, and dispute purposes, then deleted or de-identified where appropriate.

Your rights and complaints

You may request access to or correction of personal information held about you, or ask a privacy question or make a complaint. Email ersel.aydin@gmail.com. Requests will be handled within a reasonable time. If an Australian privacy complaint remains unresolved, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
