Consulting terms

These terms apply to consulting services provided by Ersel Aydin. The scope, fees and timing for any work are agreed in writing before work begins.

Professional advice

Advice is provided using reasonable skill and care, based on the information and access available. It does not replace your organisation's legal, security, compliance, vendor-governance, testing or release responsibilities, and no specific technical, commercial or business outcome is guaranteed.

Confidentiality and access

Each party must protect confidential information and use it only for the engagement, except where disclosure is authorised or required by law. Do not share production credentials through insecure channels. You are responsible for providing lawful access, approvals, backups and accurate information.

Intellectual property and liability

Each party retains its pre-existing intellectual property. Once agreed fees are paid, you may use engagement-specific advice and deliverables internally for their intended purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability for a service is limited to resupplying that service or refunding its price.
