Terms and booking policy

These terms apply to ersel.com.au and consulting sessions purchased or booked with Ersel Aydin. By purchasing a service, you agree to these terms.

Services and scope

A discovery call is a focused consultation to understand your situation and identify sensible next steps. Emergency support provides up to two hours of urgent QA, troubleshooting, advice, or hands-on assistance within the access and information available. No particular technical, commercial, or business outcome is guaranteed. Any broader work requires a separately agreed scope.

Pricing and payment

Displayed prices are in Australian dollars and are paid through Stripe before the session. The operator is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is charged. You must provide accurate booking and contact information and have authority to purchase for your organisation.

Scheduling, cancellations, and refunds

  • You may reschedule once or cancel for a full refund by giving at least 24 hours' notice before a scheduled session.
  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and missed sessions are not normally refundable because the time was reserved, but may be rescheduled at Ersel's discretion.
  • If Ersel cannot provide a purchased session, you may choose a new time or receive a full refund.
  • Emergency support may be declined and refunded where availability, access, safety, legality, or the requested scope makes responsible delivery impractical.
  • Nothing in this policy excludes remedies or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Client responsibilities and confidentiality

You are responsible for lawful access, backups, approvals, credentials, testing, deployment decisions, and the accuracy of information supplied. Do not share production credentials through insecure channels. Each party must protect confidential information and may use it only for the engagement, except where disclosure is authorised or required by law.

Intellectual property

Each party retains its pre-existing intellectual property. Once fees are paid, you may use engagement-specific advice and deliverables internally for the purpose supplied. General know-how, methods, templates, and reusable materials remain Ersel's property unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Liability

Services are professional consulting and do not replace your organisation's security, legal, compliance, release, or vendor-governance processes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability for a service is limited to resupplying that service or refunding its price, at Ersel's option. This limitation does not apply where it would unlawfully restrict a non-excludable right or remedy.

Law, changes, and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Updated terms apply prospectively from the date shown above. Questions, cancellations, refund requests, and complaints can be sent to ersel.aydin@gmail.com.
